Basic Life Support (Adult & Child) (2 hours)

This course covers basic adult and child life support skills and provides an opportunity to learn or update these skills in accordance with the latest European Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

Who should attend? 
Those who are looking to learn or update basic life saving skills and those who need to be competency assessed (certificated) i.e. doctors, dentists & fitness consultants.

Course outline: 

Basic Life Support/CPR 
Participants will be taught how to open the airway, give effective rescue breaths and perform chest compressions on adult and infant manikins. All learners will be given the opportunity to practise their skills. Air adjuncts i.e. airways and bag ‘n’ mask can be introduced on request.

Duration: 2 hours. The course can be lengthened in accordance with the needs of students.

Assessment and certification:

This course contains a practical documented assessment. Students receive a certificate that is valid for 1 year.
