Introduction to Health & Safety in the Workplace

Who should attend? 

Those who have an interest or responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on every employer to ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of all their employees. This is further endorsed by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, which underlines the need for formal arrangements and policies to manage the occupational health and safety of all individuals in the work place. 

Duration: Approximately 4 hours

Assessment and certification:

This course is continually assessed. Students receive a certificate that is valid for 1 year.
